"I've been with statefarm for years. My dad used it, so when I bought his old car, I just kept the same insurance. The two times I have had to use my insurance it has been horrible. The first was from a SMALL parking accident at 5 mph, with a little chipped paint. The woman involved tried to sue for "injuries" which took statefarm 5 years to resolve. For chipped paint! In the end, it took a accident specialist coming out to look at the car, which then resolved it 3 days later. Now, I'm not specialist, but to me, I feel like if they'd done that in the beginning it would have saved a LOT of money! Second time, my car wouldn't start on a very rainy flooded day in October of 2016. Statefarm called Yarbough Brothers Towing. Took the guy 2 hours to get there (while I waited in dumping rain) for what turned out to be a locked steering wheel. The tow guys was rude as hell, that I had somehow "wasted" his time. MONTHS later, Statefarm sent me a check, which I cashed thinking It was just money returned for over pay or something. Its happened before. Turned out Statefarm was paying me for the towing. I only discovered this, 5 months later, in which the horrible people at this office told me that I had only a small handful of days before they'd send it to collections. In April, right when taxes are due. If you like most people these day, people my age tend to live pay check to pay check, because cost of living is so extremely high. 45 dollars for some jerk to unlock a steering wheel, and damaging my credit over STATEFARM'S mistake. Outrageous. 45 dollars is gas money for me. Considering I pay close to 70 for this crappy service, it's fair to say after this crap show, I'm going to someone else. Don't waste your time OR ESPECIALLY MONEY with this office, or statefarm. An insurance company is meant to be there for you. That's why we pay for their service. Not be threatened because someone at their office screwed up!"
